Here Beatrice and Il Moro lived as the Duke and Duchess of Milano and Leonardo da Vinci spent much time with the Sforzas as his sponsors.
On the day we visited, people voted in a local election using paper ballots "stuffed" in a cardboard box.
And it was International Pasta Day. Pasta lunga vita!
